This course focuses on CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning – a way of teaching where subject content is taught in another language (English). It supports student teachers (of English) in becoming a teacher in a bilingual setting as well as in teaching their/a subject through English in a bilingual setting. It gives the students an overview of CLIL in Austrian schools, refers to relevant national and European documents and provides interesting practice and materials for English CLIL implementation.
